I helped the ladies over at Of A Kind learn to tie THIS fancy bowtie! Now you all have a photo tutorial of how to tie one - so NO excuses!
He’s no show off, but when it comes to bow-tie wearing, it’s pretty tough for Will McGinn—the handsome, impeccably dressed man behind one of our favorite (Tumblr!) blogs Except For This One—not to come off like the pro that he is. For him, it’s child’s play: He had to wear one to monthly mass in Catholic school, and you got a detention if it didn’t look good. Somehow, this didn’t ruin him—as an adult, he’s been known to knot one on on the subway. Adjust the length—and look good while doing it. This will take a little trial and error, but once you get it right, you don’t have to do it again.
