What I Wore to Work Today: Loud Pants Edition - Every once in a while you need to wear sky blue pants. Or red pants. Or green pants. You get the idea. When the need arises - just make sure you address it correctly. Don’t get crazy!
Jacket: Scotch & Soda Leather Jacket - people don’t think of tan and blue, but it works I promise. When wearing pop color pants - avoid a “matching” color jacket - it will take away from the pants ‘pop’.
Shirt: J.Crew Exploded Gingham $64.50 - with your shirt, you want it to compliment your pants without distracting. Any simple check or pattern cut back to white should work fine.
Pants: Uniqlo Slim Tappered Jeans $39.50 - Pegged of course - it is spring! Uniqlo, Gap, J.Crew, Topman and even H&M are all offering ‘pop’ colored pants in great fits for affordable prices. Don’t be afraid to have a little fun here…
Shoes: John Varvatos Leather Wing Tips - avoid colored sneakers with colored pants. Sounds obvious but worth saying.
Bag: Gucci Tote - kept it simple
Scarf: if you must - you can throw in another fun color here - I used a green herringbone
